User Agreement

Acceptance of these terms

This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between you and Quorini, Inc. (“Quorini”, “we”, “us”) and governs your use of the Family Corner website and applications (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Agreement and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a family, you confirm that you are authorized to accept this Agreement for that family's use of the Service.

The Service

Family Corner is a voice-first family biography service. An AI interviewer guides family members through spoken conversations, and the recordings are turned into written, narrated, and illustrated stories preserved for your family.

We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of the Service over time. We will not materially reduce the core value of a paid plan during its paid term.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

Provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.

Family spaces and consent

Content in your family space is visible to the family members you invite and approve. You control who joins.

You are responsible for having permission from the people whose stories, voices, and images you record or upload. Stories that involve living family members are shared according to the consent settings your family chooses; do not record or upload anyone's voice or likeness without their consent.

Your content

You own your content: your recordings, photos, and the stories created from them belong to you and your family.

You grant Quorini a limited license to host, process, transcribe, adapt (for narration and illustration), and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. We do not use your private content to train general-purpose AI models, and we do not sell it.

You can export your data or delete recordings at any time; deleting a recording removes the content derived from it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to record or upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes others' rights; to harass or harm anyone; to probe or disrupt the Service's security or infrastructure; or to misrepresent AI-generated stories as factual records without context.

AI-generated stories may contain errors or embellishments. They are a way to preserve and share memories, not a certified historical record.

Subscriptions, gifts, and payments

Paid plans are billed as described at checkout. Gifted plans are one-time purchases with a chosen start date and do not auto-renew.

Prices may change for future purchases, but changes will not affect a term you have already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; if the Service fails to work as described, contact us and we will make it right.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement, with notice where reasonably possible.

When your paid term ends, your recordings and stories remain yours: you can export them even after your subscription lapses.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Quorini will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above; for significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Agreement.
